The potato market (remains very strong and prices are firm at £7 15s ex wharf, and £8 ex store. There is good demand fcr Up-to-dato seed, and the price has advanced to £9 10s per ton. The small arrivals of maize went into immediate consumption at 3s Id for new and 3s 2d fcr old maize. Really good onions are practically unprocurable. Fair (samples aro worth lfo per cwt. The market is well supplied with oats. Quotations for B grade are 2s l^d ox whairf, and 2s 3d ex store. Bran and sharps are unchanged in price, as both acre still scarce. Seed- wheat ds qucbed at 4s 6d ex store. Fowl wheat sells-freely at 3s 2d ex wharf and 3s 3d ex store. There is a plentiful supply of chaff, which is quoted at £5 ex wharf and £5 5s ex store. Butter and eggs are unchanged in price.
