PURSUING THE KNIAZ POTEMKIN
RUSSIAN SYMPATHISERS AT MANILA.

The Smietlvij, manned by officers, coaled at Theodosia, and has started in pursuit of the Kniaz Potemkin. The latter is reported to be steaming to Novorossujsk, where the Black Sea squadron has arrived. The inhabitants have been warned not to venture into the streets in the event of the Kniaz Potemkin appearing.
- The cruiser Pani Kaoerkurya will protect Theodosia.
The Russians interned in Manilla are sullen, and sympathise with the Kniaz Potemkin. There ds a rumour that their intentions are murderous. The American warship Monadnock is watching in proximity.
One hundred and fifty of the Prout's mutineers have been incarcerated. The Kniaz Potemkin has reappeared at Kustenji.
