BLENHEIM, July 9. During the week just ended 1510 eggs were laid, the average being increased to 15 1-5 eggs per pen. Only three hens have not yet joined in. '. For first place, H. Leger's White Leghorns (from Levin) and F. Brook (from Australia) are tie with a grand aggregate of 241, the former having laid 29 eggs during the week and the latter 30. The Buff Orpingtons of G. Mooridge (Blenheim), with 29 for the week and an aggregate of 182, have passed Jonathan Hodgson's White Leghorns, into third place.
