Court this morning, before Mr. James, 'S.M., three settlers were charged on the inform at ion of Inspector-Huddlestone with, failing to clear noxious .weeds, to wit, blackberries, frorii tinei land: in their occupation. A;ftne-b£^Ctei^iid costs 9s. 6d. was imposed in each ca&p. ' WELLINGTON, March 20, The ordinary session of; the" Court of Appeal opened this morning, ithe Judges present being the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) and Justices Williams, Denniston, and Edwards. The list of cases' is an unusually, small one, and outside counsel is not strongly represented. There are seven casea on the, list,, and probably three more wilL-.be added. After hearing the order : .of cases, the Court adjourned until tomorrow morning, when the ltocal case of the Hutt County .Council v. Crawford
will be argued.
