The Mcseow secret police have discovered a store of infernal machines and bombs, a quantity of explosives and weapons, and printing presses belonging to an organisation acting in conjunction with the Revolutionary Committed, whose headquart&rs1 are in London. In connection with the assassination of the Grand Duke Sergius^ three hundred arrests have been mad'&. The "Novoe Vreiny*' declares that Britain's cLaim in the Knight Commander ca«a is an unprecedented and unjustifiable one. Onoa the demand would have roused Russia to arms, but today she is bowed with, shame and forced to face .the insult.
Received March 20, 8.40 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, March 19. The verdict in the Neva "blessing" incident, when the Cfear's party was fired upon, was-that there was neglect of duty in failing to supervise' the firing, though therle was, an absence of malicious intent. Three' officers have been sentenced to one and a-lialf years' imprisonment, and two lieutenants and gunners to shorter terms.
