ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

CHRISTCHURCH, December 3. Alexander Calder, 2& years of age, r storekeeper at Scargill, and Robert Calder, 13 years of age. his brother, were drowned yesterday in the Motunau River, 12 miles from Soargill. It is supposed that they were fording the river, which was in flood. The body of Alexander Calder was recovered, and the ihorse and trap were found in the stream, the horse beinig drowned.
