LONDON, December 2. A squadron, under the command of Admiral: Uriu, has gone to the Dutch East Indies to watch the Baltic Fleet. Bennett BurOeigh reports a further heavy bombardment of Port Arthur, which began on Tuesday night. Des*perate attempts are being made to tunn<?jl towards 203 Metre Hill, and there are repeatied bayonet charges. The cas~ nalitie,3 are heavy ,and it is stated that the besiegers have had over 25,000 kidded outright siince the siege began. Received December 2, 7.56 a.m. LONDON, December 2. The "Times'" Tokio correspondent* jays there is no irritation over tho ccnal question. The Japanese fully comprehend the nature of the English laws, and the indignation is confined to the action of France in so interpreting her laws-as to allow this Ba!!bio Fleet free use of her ports.
