THE BUTTER INDUSTRY.

A conference of the representatives of the butter factories, merchants, and agents, has resolved to recommend the producer to co-operate to market his own products. It was also decided, by 80 to 5, against the establishment of an open butter exchange, as recommended by the butter commissioners.
