Carrad, assisted by Mrs. Howe; Mrs. Trernewan, assisted-by Mrs. J. Harper; Mrs. W. J. Carson, assisted by Mrs.'Jarrett; Mrs. Harris, assisted by Miss Q. Horsley. Bachelors' Table: Messrs. R. C. Barker and W. Oliver, assisted by Mr.CW. Gaze. • Tlie' public meeting was held at 7.30, when there was a large attendance, the weather 'having cleared. A very interesting programme, >as follows, was present^: ;Anthem, "Jerusalem," choia*; secretary's' report,' Mr. C. A. Gaze ; treasurer's' 'annual report, Mr. C. A. " God of Israel," choir. During.the evening Mr. Gilbert Carson gave an interesting account of the work done at - the a'ecent Baptist .Conference at Dunedin.
