OPERA HOUSE.

THE COON SERENADERS

Notwithstanding that the elements were anything but propitious last even-, ing, there was a large audience at the Opera Bouse, where the "Coon Serenaders" gave an entertainment in aid of the Cadets' Uniform Fund. The first half of the programme was devoted to the usual "circle" business. The feminine burnt cork artists acquitted themselves very creditably, as also did the gentlemen ,who assisted. The second half of the programme consisted of a Cakewalk, a speciality, "Susie Ue, "^a skirt dance, an Irish dance, and "Six of us and six of you." Extreme" pressure on our space prevents us referring in detail to the programme. We understand that there is a likelihood of the entertainment being given again. If it be repeated, the "Coon Serenaders" will no doubt be greeted by another large house.
