THE ARARAT TRAGEDY.
United Press Association—Copyright. MELBOURNE, September 17. -An investigation points to the fact that Bridget' Walsh's throat was cut, and that she was not drowned as at first supposed; and.the wound on the brother found in the dam ..was .self-inflicted by a gun fixed; to a.table, arranged so that it would discharge when drawn forward. It is inferred that either both suicided or the woman allowed the brother to kill her. ;
' There is no trace of the other brother. ■ ■
The Walshes owned the farm they lived on, and had funds in a hank.

The 'body of the sister -wag.found near a dam, while the body of one brothea" was found floating .in.the water. . The latter had a gunshot wound in hie head. The other.brother, is missing.
