NAPIER, September 5. The representative football match, ManaTvatu v. Hawko's ay, was played on the Recreation Ground on Saturday alftemoon an the presence of a largo attendance of spectators. Th© weather was fine.

The piiay was of a very even character, €tach side scoring two tries, but one of Manawatu's was converted. MciMinn kicking a beautiful goal from a difficullt angle.
