WANGANUI RUGBY UNION.

A meeting of the Management Com_ mittee of the Wanganui Rugby Union; was held last evening at Messrs. Treadwell and Moßeth's offices. Present:—■ Messrs. A. Gray (n the chair), L. Bassett, A. W. Mourittfort, L. Craig, and W.. Haill (secretary).' An apology' for absence was received from Mr. Slipper. The miniiites of the last meeting were: read and confirmed.

WAIRARAPA UNION.—A letter was. read from the Wiairarapa Union, regrettlijig their inability to play a match at Mastertom on the 24th. iSeptember, andt also tttianking the offioiaLs of this Union, for their courtesy and hospitality to the Wairarapa team when in Wanganui. JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE, MATCHES.—The .mlanager of the juniorrepresentatives, who played at Marten,., put in his report, which was considered, satisfactory and received. CORRESPONDENCE. — Correspondence received froni the 'Manawatu Union, fixing >tihe junior representativematch here on 3rd S«ptemJbei', was re. ceived. It was reisdlved that Mr. Hall ■make arrangements for the team to dinealfter the matbh. MISCONDUCT.—The/ referee in the pennant match Pirates' v. Kaierau reported that he had ordered two players—one Kaiei'au and one Piirata player— off the field for rough play in" the match. It was resolved that the matter be held over till next meeting. It. AWARUA SUB-UNION.—The setere. tary reported he had suggested Saturday, 17th September, for a matoh ab Ta hape.—:Reaolved thai} this date be agreed to, the feanito return the sameday. BUSH UNlON.—Thursday, 22nd Sep. temper, was fixed for this match at Pahiatua.

NORTH OTAGO UNlON.—Correspondence was read from this Union with regard to accommodation for this Union's representatives.—Letter received.

SOUTH TOUR.—The secretary sub. miJbted the" progrjamme for the " South? tour of the Union's representatives, aspu'blish'dd beltnv, and same was approved.
