Japanese shells fell withfn two miles of Liiaoyang.

The Russians checked a dangca-tous infantry atitaok along (the railKvay. Two hundred prisoners have reached Mukden.
The battle was renewed at dawn towards the stouth-eiaist, and the cannonade was leas violent.
The Russians claim to ihave repulsed the Japanese all along the Vne, with heavy losses, but few offidiai details are available* as te» the wounded. A Russian correspondent states that 46 undamaged guns wer© captured, but there is nto official confirmation.
