As on former occasions, the dane- j ing hall was tastefully decorated and reflected great credit'on the committee, which consisted »of Col.-Se.r-igeant Purser^ Sergeant Forder, Corpls. .Mereditih., . Harrison (3), Lce.-Corpl. i Biu>wn.and Vols. Cooper and Redmond. There was a large attendance, between 90 and "100 bbupLes: gra,cing the floor. Mrs...Lockfett.(piano) and Mr. F. Henley (cornet). The committee had made all arrangeni'Snts; /and everything went amoothly. > A very riice supper was provided by ! the ladies' committee-^—Mes-dames Redmond, Purser, and Misses Cruickslianks, Mrfilman, Forder (2), and Hogan. Among the visitors were Captain Harper (Guiai-ds), Lieutenant Day (Highlanders), and a large number of members of the local corps. During the evening songs were aung by Messrs. Power and Andrews, Clarionet solo by Mr. Brunette, recitation by Mr. Hogan, and phonograph items by Mr. Pitt.
