The Churches.
On Sunday next .the Rev. J. Dawson will preach morning andl .evening in the Primitive Methodist Church*. Mr. Dawson. is one of the 'most popular ministers in the denomination, and is well known as a forceful and instructive speaker. It is expected thait. he will ba welcomed by large congregations. Special services appropriate to Bible Society Sunday will be conducted in the Baptist. Ohrateb to-morrow by the Rev. Arthur Dewdney. In the morning the subject is "Thy Word!, the Joy of My Heaat." The monthly young men's service will be held in the' evening, when Mr. Dewdney will preach on "The Bible —An Inquiry." Young men are. cordially invited to the service. The Rev. EL K. Lawrie, from Tinnaru, will conduct services at the Aramoho and Westmere Churches on Sunday next. The Rev. H. A. Raynes, M.A., London deputation •of She British and Foreign Bible Society, will preach at Christ Church on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
