To start at 5 p.m. CONDITIONS •- The winuei any one race subject to be penalised up to 10 lbs., and of two or more races up to 20 lbs. HACK.—No horse .which has won a race of the value of 80 govs., or races of the collective value of 200 soys., at the time of nomination, shall be eligible to start as a hack. DISTRICT means wiiMn a radius of thirty miles of Karioi (map measurement), and all horses qualified1 to start in district races must be owned and in the district by Ist January, 1903. : Nominations close at 9 p.m., January 31st. 1903. Weights will be declared about February 6, 1906. Acceptances close at 9 p.m. on February 18, 1903. Weights will be published in the Wanganui papers. Nomination or acceptance must be accompanied by full amount of entrance money; otherwise it will not be received. Description, age, pedigree, and previous performances of horses, also colours, to be worn by rider, to be sent with nominations. No entry will be received except on the understanding that the decision of the majority of the stewards present shall be conclusive. Objections to be made in writing not later than ten minutes after race, and to be accompanied by deposit of £2.
