Forbury Park, Dunedin, • Feb. 12th, 1902. Dear Mr Lane, , . Three years ago '■the doctor would not pass me for life-insurance. He said my lungs were seriously affected, and told my parents that I was in a very bad way. If' anything this news made me worse, but I had heard good accounts of "Lane's Emulsion," and decided to give it a trial and stick to it. I kept taking bottle after bottle, and now I am passed and reported as being sound in every way. I feel better and stronger than I ever did before I ara leaving here as one of the Ninth N<Z. Contingent, which is proof that) I am sound and fit for hard work. I may mention that about 12 months ago. being anxious to krow how I was, 7 had myself sounded by a medical man, who ! said after carefully examining me that" one lung had quite healed, and the other was only slightly touched. This greatly pleased \ me >and encouraged me to continue with "Lane's Emulsion." Though how I had improved and how well I felt was sufficient encouragement, but I wanted to be sure. I, am quite certain that if people would give it a fair trial and take it as I did— regularly four times a day—it would do them a power of good. I remain, Thankfully and gratefully yours, TROOPER ORR.

You cannot expect to derive tlie benefits that Trooper Orr derived unless you obtain the genuine "Lane's Emulsion." If you will pc careful to purchase "Lane," and positively (refuse to accept any substitute that may bo offered you, you will be amply rewarded for your carefulness by a fresh flow of health, with rosy cheeks, and a vim and vigour to do your daily work that you may have never before experienced.
