TO MR. A. M. ROBERTS

The officers of.4jh.e Dejj&rittmenfc of Roads office assembled at 5 o'clock yesterday evening to make aJ presentation to Mr. A. M. Robeitis, who is severing bis connection with the Roads Department, a department with which he haajj^x cogjigeted for many years. The preaenftatfiion was made by. Mr. R. H. Reaney, road surveyor, in a few well chosen and appropriate words. Mr. Reamey expressed the jreneral regret which the staff felt at losing Mr7 Roberts, but was certain that he wouM occupy his new poeiitipn—that, of a surveyor in the Lands and Survey Departments—-with credit to himself eaxd to,,the'Department. Mr. Reaney also referred to Mr. Roberts' untiring efforts to adVance the interests of the office and the Department, and £o the harmonious manner in which he had' worked' with the remainder of the staff.
