CANTERBURY SALEYARDS COMPANY.

CHRISTCHURCH, February 10.:

. At the annual meeting of the Canterbury Saleyarda Company, ihe> profit and loss statement, after providing for depreciation, showed a profit of £1027, and a credit of £1049.

It was decided to declare a dividend of 4 per cent, on the paidi-up capital, making a total dividend of 8 per cent, for the year, and to carry forward to new atcount £29. During the yea«r 724,088 sheep, 23,255 pigs, and 23,3^ cattle passed through the yards.
