A CHILD'S DEATH.
THAMES, October 28.
A child died suddenly at Wharekawa, near Thames. No doctor was in attendance.
At the inquest the evidence was to the effect that death was due to natural causes, and a verdict was returned accordingly.
The father walked twenty _ miles over rough country to secure medicine.
