SCHOOL I. v. WANGANUI
The School went in first, and Logan was bowled by K. Cave soon after the start. Then Hewitt and Riddiford got otgether, and were not separated till over a hundred runs were scored. Hewitt played a very pood forcing innings, considering th© slow state of the ground, and although he was maiased several times, Riddi'ford. played carefully for Iris 32. At 4.30 the School declared their innings closed, and at time tihe Wanganui team had lost 9 wickers for 57, thus leaving the School with the best of the draw.
