DUNEDIN, October 5

At a meeting of the University Court, of Convocation sincere sympathy was expressed for Dr.- Milne in his affliction;, and a minute was entered accordingly. The Rev. A. Cameron was the only candidate foil- the vacancy on the Senate, and he was duly Elected. The opinion Avas expressed that the new Act would work better as regards District Courts of Convocation.
