SYDNEY, September 20.

Madame Melba arrived *at Albury, where she had1 arranged to meet her father. She received a shock when informed that he had been stricken with paralysis as the result of extreme age and excitement at meeting his daughter.

The attack is not severe, but- as quietude is necessary, her father remains at Albury, and Mdiba proceeds to Melbourne.
