NEW YORK, September 19.

Lieut. Peary has arrived at Sydney from Cape Breton. He reports, that the highest latitude reached by the expedition was 84 deg. 17 mins. The ice-pack north-west of Cape Hecla was impracticable. Peary made important discoveries.
