The Imperial Company -will increase the capital to £2,000,000, and secure subscriptions of £100,000 additional capital. Mr D. B. Dcv Graaf, managing director of the South African Cold Storage Company, joins the Board, and Mr J. K. Stephenson, general manager of the original company, become? general manager of the* new combination. Mi- J. H. Harris, formerly in the Melbourne office of John Cook and Co., has been appointed assistant manager. Serious; disturbances (have occurred at Bethsedo quarry.
