The Counts.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, September 12. The .case of Barnett and Grant v. Detective Campbell came up at the Supreme Court. The plaintiffs had claimed damages for wrongful seizure of books and documents. The Court gave judgment for defendant, but this was reversed by the Appeal Court, and tho case now came up to assess damages and costs. Mr Justice Williams said it had been a very proper case to go to appeal, as the question involved was. almost a constitutional one. Following the example of the «asa at Invercargill, he would allow £5 and costs on the lowest scale.
