An action brought against the Federal Postmaster to recover damages sustained through the falling of an electric light wire ended in the plaintiffs being non-suited, owing to the Judge holding that the Federal High Court only had jurisdiction. He said it was remarkable that a, High Court had not been established, the result being that there was no legal remedy against the Commonwealth.
