NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Waneanui CountjCouncil to raise a loan under "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," for the purpose of acquiring land for a road to connect. Okoia with Matarawa, and forming and metalling and providing necessary culverts for tli-o said road. Tho sum it is proposed to borrow for the purpose is £1000. It is proposed to pledgo as security for such loan a Special Rate of one halfpenny in the £s.upon the rateable property of the Matarawa Special Rating District, the boundaries of which are as foi.uw : Commencing at the point where tho Eastern Boundary of Section 127. Block VII., Ikitara Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction along the Eastern Boundary of said Section 127, and Section 126, same block, to the north-western corner of section 128, same Block, thence along the Southern Boundary of section 270, same Block, and the Southern Boundaries of sections Nos. 315 and 316, Block VIII., Ikitara Survey District, to tho South-eastern corner of said section 316, thence. along the Southwestern!, North-eastero, and Northrwestern Boundaries of said section 316, to the South-eastern corner of section .322, same Block, thence along the Eastern, Northern and Western Boundaries of said section 322 to its South-western corner, thence along the North-Eastern Boundary of section 273, Block VII., Ikitara Survey District, to the .point where section 200, same Block, touches at its easternmost point the Waikupa Road, thence by a right line in a westerly direction to the North-eastern corner of section 208, thence along the Northern and North-western Boundaries- of said section 208 to section 270, same Block, thence along the Northern Boundary of said section 270 to its North-western corner, thence along the Western Boundary of said section 270 to the Waikupa Road, thence in a westerly direction juon,g the Waikupa Road to its junction with the Okoia Road, thence in a Westerly direction to a pa:nfc on the Northern Boundary of section 112, same Block, about 5 chains distant from the said junction, thence by a right line in a Southerly direction through said secticoi 112 and section 57. to the No. 2 Line of Road, thence along the said rond in an Easterly direction to the sarting point. Such Special Rate shall be an Annual Rate during the currency of said Loan, being a period of forty-one (41) years, or until the Loan is fully paid off, and that such rate shall bo payable half-yearly, on | the first day of April, and the first day of October ii» each and 6very year.
