Tlie Otago Patriotic Committeel has distributed £3300 in gratuities and the relief of .returned continganters, also giving financial assistance to the relief of families to the extent of £15 6a. They have over £2000 in hand, exclusive of £1000 received from L-loyds, which is to be earmarked for the relief of cases of permanent injury of contingenters, irrespective of place of residence.
