AN EXTRAORDINARY CLAIM. Received September 10, 10.54 p.m. LONDON, September 10. The Rev. Smythe Piggott, successor to his brother Price as head of the Agapiemonites, announced on Sunday night, at their Ark of the Covenant at Clapham, that he was the Messiah. Emotional scenes followed, several ladies testifying that the claim was .correct. Two hundred unbelievers on Monday made a demonstration outside Piggott's residence.
