STATEMENT BY THE MINISTER.
SESSION EXPECTED TO CLOSE AT END OF MONTH. Sir Joseph Ward made a statement as to the work prqgjosed to be done for the remainder of the session. He hoped to bring down the Public Works Statement on Tuesday of next week, and take the debate on the following Friday. If that were done he saw no reason why the session shoyid notclose by the "end of the month.
