Press Association—Telegraphi—Qopyright. Received September 3, 9.20 a.m. NEW YORK, September 2. The eruption at Mount Pelee killed many in North Martinique. The inhabitants of Le Carbet and Fort de France are terror-stricken, and have fled to the interior. Received September 3, 10.18 p.m. NEW YORK, September 3. Martinique telegrams report that 1000 were killed and hundreds injured at the townships of Momeronge, Ajoujpa, and Bouillon. Cruisters are removing the settlers to Northern Martinique.
