NAPIER, September 3. The football match Otago v. Hawke's Bay was played to-day in splendid weather. There was a large attendance of spec tators. The ,game was interesting all through, both sides being very evenly matched, and although the visitors won by 15 to 9 the advantage was only gained in the last few minutea of play. The Wellington College Old Boysi defeated Christ's College Old Boys at Wellington on Mondc-wr by 16 points to 3. The game was fast and o,pien all through. Dod'd scored two tries for Wellington, and Cleland and Odlin one each. Flower scored for Christ's College.
