Accidents and Fatalities.
Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, September 2. An inquest was held yesterday morning on the body of P. Rattray, who died suddenly on Saturday night. A verdict of death" from natural causes was returned. DUNEBIN, September 2. John Riely, 65 years of age, a farmer at Otakia, Taieri, was killed by a, bluegum tree falling on him. He was. felling the tree with his sons, and in running back when it was falling deceased tripped and was pinned by a branch before lie could recover.
