A BALLOON ACCIDENT.
THE RESULT £>F A FOOLISH GAME. A MAN KILLED. Received September 2, 9.49 p.m. LONDON, September 2. Spectators, in playing with a captive war balloon at Leatherhead (Surrey), r&leased it.- A man who was clinging to.a rope was carried one hundred ■ feet, when he dropped and was killed. Three people who were inside the' car pulled the valve rope and descended in safety.
