WANGANUI v. TARANAKI.
The Selection Committee (Rev. J. M. Marshall, Messrs Hall and Gray) met last nighfc and selected the following "team to represent Wanganui against Taranaki at Hawera on Wednesday next: — Full-back: Robinson. Three-quarters.: Thurston, Tregear, and Sheehak. Five-.eierhth: McGregor. Half: Braid. Wings: Dick and Hainerton. Forwards : J. Symes. McCulloch, H. Montgomerie, G. Thompson, Prouse, L. P.van, M. Ryan
Emergencies.—Back: T. Craig. For ward : A. S, 0. Anderson.
Any of the above who are unable, to i?o to Hawera on Wednesday are requested to notify the acting-secretary of the Union (Mr A. W. Mountfcirt) to-day without fail. The team will return on Wednesday, arriving at Wanganui at 8.20 p.m. The Wanganui representative team returned from Napier by last night* train. Members of the team ore requettpd to be at the town station at 7.45 a.m. sharp. The Waverley players will join the team at Wa.verlev.
The Wanganui representatives will play the return match with Rangitikei at Marton on Saturday next, 23rd instant.
