MELBOURNE, -August 16,
There is now every probability of a strike of railway men being avoided. At a conference of the Minister of Railways and the men's delegate the .latter handed in a resolution expressing- willingness not to persist in the demand; written that classification should be brought in at the end of twelve months' reuuetion.
