NEWS OF A NEW ZEALANDER.
WELLINGTON. March 12.
Captain Tuckcy. of Wellington, who left Nov.- Zealand with the Filth Contingent, but was. subsequent to the battle of O'ttoshoop, given an Imperial staff appointment under Major Paris; appeal* to have been with his chief at the disaster which befell Lord Methuen. To-day his relatives received a, cable from Vdyburg stating that he was safe and not wounded.
