llimiugton on Thursday surprised a laager north of Orange, and captured 22 of the enemy and 16 waggons of provisions. Three hundred have joined Vilonees' Scouts during the week, many surrendering burghers requesting to be. permitted to retain their arms and horses for the purpose. Deaths:. Thomas Drenton, Seventh New Zealanders, of chloroform poisoning; and Sergt. Wjlliam Moore, .Sixth N.Z., of enteric.
