and Co.'m steamers will leave Wanganui. every day for and beyond Pipiriki at 7 a.m. The firm's special tourist steamer Ohura is kept at Pipiriki for doing the extended excursion beyond Pipiriki in'conjunction with the daily service from Wanganui. An inset having reference to the groat salvage sale to be held in the Drill Hull will be found with this issue.
Messrs. Williams and Harper will sell by auction at the mart this day. horses, vehicles, produce, poultry, furniture, bicycles, . frait, and usual sundries. The sale commences as usual at noon.

We remind our readers that Messrs Crichton and Newman will commence a great salvage sale at the Drill Hall at 10 o'clock this morning. The goods to be offered are the boots and shoes saved from the recent fire.
