Note. —In future private post cards need sot bear the name "N.ew Zealand." It will be sufficient if the words "Post Card" or "Post Card Reply" appear. Mail Note.—The postage to Samoa is, for the present, 2£d, instead of Id.

Wall receiving boxes throughout the town -will be cleared daily at 1 p.m. instead of 2 p.m. For Wellington and intermediate offices daily at 6 a.m., noon, and 4.10 p.m. For Napier and interme""diate offices daily at 6 a.m. and noon. For New Plymouth and intermediate .offices daily at 7 a.m., 1.55 ' p.m.- and 3.30 p.m.' For Auckland daily at 1.55 p.m. Mails are due at Chief Post Office, Wanganui, from Wellington daily at 11.45 a.m., 3.10 p.m., and 9.16 p.m.; from Napier daily at 3.10 p.m. and 9.16 p.m. ; from New Plymouth daily at 11.32 a.m., 1.16 p.m., and (except Thursdays) 5.20 p.m., Thursdays at 9.35 p.m. ; from Auckland at 1.16 p.m. daily. , WEDNESDAY, 27th November.
