(By "Bona, Fide.") The annual. gathering in connection with the above Club took place on Thursday at •Sentry Hill, the weather being perfect, and "the attendance large. The racing throughout was interesting, and the secretary (Mr. H. Spurdle) is to be congratulated on the manner in wihek he carried out his duties. The totaJisators were worked by Messrs. NeylonandSpriggens, of Wanganui. and, notwithstanding the small fiield of three in the Hurdle Race, the returns shpwed, a decided improvement as compared with the last fixture of the W.J.C. —over £3800 being invested on the machine, ds against £3067 for the, pre.vious meeting. Following are the results : Hurdles.—Sultana 1, Midas 2, Clarion 3. Only starters. Won comfortably by three parts of a length. Time; 3 mins. 2 2-5 sees. Dividend, £1 18s. Maiden Plate. —Loch Erin 1, Convoy 2, Diehard 3. An easy win. Time, 1 mm. 49 2-5 sees. Dividends, £6 2s and £2 6s.

All-aged " Stakes. —Bowman 1, • Royal Flush 2, Laertes''3. A good race down the straight resulted in a win for the Bowshot gelding by about a length and a half. Time, 1 mm. 5 2-5 sees. Dividends, £4 7s and £1 4s. Waitani Cup. —Mara 1, Kohina 2, Siandra 3. Maro came with a great rush on the outside, and, under pressure, won by a quarter of a, length. Time, 2 mins. 18 2-5 sees.
