In th« Assembly, the State Treasurer delivered his Budget. The revenue for the year is stated at £8,087,000, of which the sum of £360,000 has been returned to the Commonwealth. The total expenditure was £7,709,000, which was £228,000 than estimated. It is expected to close the year with) a credit balance of £136,000.
