CHRISTCHURCH. August 23. The South express was delayed for two hours owing to an accident to a truck attached to the train from Ashburton. The axle broke, derailing two trucks and 0110 passenger carriage. No one was injured, and the line was quickly repaired. Later. The man killed on the railway is bolieved to be- P. Healey, of Gore. DUNEDIN. Ausrust 23. At the inquest on the body of the man run over by the train, the evidence went to show that the body was that of Patrick Halloy, who has sisters at Temuka and Invercai'gill. It is surmised that as the train was standing on the street for some time deceased attempted to cross osrer the couplings between two trucks, ajid. fell when the train started again. The verSict was that the man, supposed to be Patrick Halley, was killed by the train. ' No 1 blame was attachable tv anyone, >■ '
