Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, August 16.

The Acclimatisation Society has decided to vote £100 towards the cost of the proposal that the Government should import big game, and recommended wapiti and chamois as the most suitable.

It was r&ported that not one head of the pheasant recently introduced into the Tokomaru district could be seen, the destruction being put down to stoats and wea^ sels.
