The result of the first round of the Ladies' Championship was played yesterday, and resulted as follows—Miss Moore beat Mrs Rowley 3 up, Miss Cave beat Miss Cowper 2 up, Mrs Lomax beat Miss Earle 6 up and 5 to play, Mrs D'Arcy beab Miss Marshall 2 up, Mrs Innes a bye from Miss Wilford, Mrs Cleghprn beat Mra Barnicoat 7 up and 6 to play, Miss Robertson a bye from Mrs Empson, Miss Newcombe beat Mrs Greig 7 up and 6 to The second round will be played on Friday at 2 p.m., when Miss Moore plays Miss Cave, Mrs Lomax plays Mrs D'Arcy, Mrs Innes plays Mrs Cleghorn, and Miss Robertson plays Miss Newcombe.
