ALLEGED INFANT MURDER.

DUNEDIN, August 10.
At the Police Court, Elizabeth Hiscock, aged 20, was charged with the murder of a male infant about June Ist. The body was found wrapped in brown paper on the roadside, and the medical evidence at the inquest was to the effect that the child had died from violence—probably suffocation!
Accused Avas employed at the Pier Hotel, The case was remanded to the 19th.
