In the Legislative Assembly, the leader of tho Opposition, after generally condemning the administration of the Government) and the failure to meet Parliament before the late general election, moved a motion of censure. The debate was adjourned. MELBOURNE, July 25.
Premier Barton stalled that he is in communication with Premier Seddon with a view to finding out if the Governor of Fiji's proclamation with reference to agitating against the present form of Government there is an interference with the righ'.s of free speech of British subjects.
