As "will be seen by advertisement in another column, the thoroughbred horse Linstock is for sale-. During his time at I the stud the Hotchkiss —Satanella horse has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and his stock are very highly spoken of by racing men ; in fact, is is not lonqr since that a well known, breeder was offered 100 guineas for a two-year-old colt by Linstock, but the offer was declined. As is well known, Linstock is a half brother to thosa good performers, St. Paul, St. Peter, St. Ursula, St. Olga, etc., and it is only on account of relinquishing business that/ the owner has decided to sell. Sir. Walter Churton, of Aramoho, will supply all particulars as to price, terms, etc.
